  10. This is the Patch (Bug Fixes) for Unlimited Adventures.  It will update the 
  11. installed version of your game to v1.2.  Specific changes in this file are 
  12. listed at the bottom of this description.
  13.  
  14. Unzip the files to a floppy disk (i.e. PKUNZIP FRUAV12.ZIP B:)
  15.  
  16. Change to the drive and directory that contains the installed game (i.e. the 
  17. C:\FRUA directory) and type X:\update X where X= the letter of the floppy 
  18. drive where you unzipped the patch files. (i.e. B:\Update B)
  19.  
  20. NOTE: If you have the files unzipped to C:\FRUA, you would type: C:
  21. \FRUA\UPDATE C (This has been tried and will work)
  22.  
  23. This file contains Scott Gries's UAHELP file...available separately. To view, 
  24. type README from your UA directory.

  27. Unlimited Adventures IBM V1.2 Changes:
  28.  
  29. 1) Strength-affecting items no longer allow characters to train over their 
  30. maximum level (by race and requisite statistic)  Only natural strength counts 
  31. towards these limitations.
  32.  
  33. 2) Trolls now regenerate.
  34.  
  35. 3) Execute Event At Destination now works properly.
  36.  
  37. 4) The game will no longer hang when a friendly, spell-casting monster is 
  38. hit, and the player uses the 'view spells' for that creature.
  39.  
  40. 5)  The 'Who Pays' event now works properly.
